I have always been a huge fan of Vionnet. Founded by the French designer Madeleine Vionnet, also known as the "Queen of the bias cut" and "the architect among dressmakers", the house has always been one of my favourites despite their slight disappearance in previous decades. In her days Vionnet mastered the elegant Grecian style dresses and was the creator of the famous bias cut (which I am so tremendously fond of). Now a days it is Rodolfo Paglialunga who is injecting a breath of fresh air into the brand modernizing the house's signature characteristics and adding lots of colour to its iconic style.
