Fanatical about Wendy Bevan- VOGUE SPOSA S/S 11

The London Photographer Wendy Bevan fascinated me at first sight. This Saturday I had the pleasure of stumbling upon her exhibit at The Cobb Gallery in North London and discovered one of my favourite photographer.  Using mostly Polaroids, Bevan stamps an unmistakable vintage feeling to all her work, specifically drawing from the early 20th century aesthetic and concentrating on the female experience. One is intermediately transported to painterly silent era "with disconcertingly beautiful femme fatales acting out their memories, bittersweet feelings and repressed emotions". Her work has been featured in Russian Vogue, Italian Marie Clair, British Harpers Bazaar, Nylon, POP, I-D etc... Please check out her work because is truly inspiring!
